  1. This competition is open to Male and Female Calves Non-Pedigree Continental Type born in 2010. Passport determines the breed of the calf.
  2. Maximum weight for final 350kgs. Calves will be weighed before the final and weights will be strictly adhered to.
  3. Three animals to qualify from each show. Exhibitors will be allowed qualify more than one calf.
  4. Qualifying calves may not enter other classes on day of final.
  5. Qualifying calves must have a B.T.E card with a Herd Number from counties Mayo, Sligo, Galway, Leitrim, Roscommon, Donegal, on date of last test and must be owned by a resident of these counties.
  6. These rules should be read in conjunction with the Irish Shows Association Rules.

FINAL: SWINFORD SHOW – SATURDAY 20th AUGUST 2011

  1. This competition is open to all breeds of non pedigree heifers, suitable to produce and rear a calf with potential for current commercial beef markets.
  2. Heifers may be in calf or maiden at final. For heifers that are in calf, evidence must be produced i.e. scanning cert or insemination cert.
  3. Heifer’s potential mothering ability will be assessed.
  4. Up to 2 heifers may qualify at each show if the standard is deemed sufficient.
  5. Individual exhibitors may qualify up to 2 heifers for the final.
  6. All heifers must be haltered trained and lead by a competent adult.
  7. Animals qualifying for this final are ineligible for entry to other classes at the Swinford Show other than qualifying classes for other finals.
  8. The foregoing rules should be read in conjunction with I.S.A/General Rules for 2011 together with Swinford Show Rules.

  1. Qualifying animals to have no more than two permanent teeth on day of the final.
  2. One heifer may qualify from each selected show, if standard is insufficent, no heifer will qualify.
  3. One heifer may qualify from each selected show. If the standard is insufficient no heifer may be chosen.
  4. All animals must be led by a competent adult.
  5. These rules should be read in conjunction with the Irish Shows Association Rules

RULES AND CONDITIONS

  1. This competition is open to Non-Pedigree Cows with own calf at foot to be judged as a unit.
  2. Calves must be born on or after 1st January 2011.
  3. Calf identity cards to be available for inspection at qualifying show and final.
  4. One qualifier from each qualifying show.
  5. No restriction on number of qualifiers by any individual owner.
  6. Qualifying animals for this All Ireland Final will not be eligible for entry in any other classes at Mohill show other than qualifying classes for other finals.
  7. Qualifying animals for the final at Mohill show must enter the judging ring 15 minutes prior to judging.
  8. These rules should be read in conjunction with the general I.S.A. rules.
